Katrinmania

My name is Ekaterina but my friends call me Katya. All my life I wanted to create something fulfilling and I found myself as an artisan just two years ago when I attended a felting workshop.The task was to draw with colorful wool a picture. That was the moment when this tiny piece of fiber created a sparkle and I fell in love with it. After this day, I find myself constantly rolling, as wet felting is a process where the wool has to be rolled numerous times.
It's really hard for me to explain how creativity is born using wool and wet felting. I start with a feeling or an idea and allow the material to guide me. This is such an exciting path that leads me to create beautiful wall hangings, clothing and fashion accessories.
