Hanan Kedmi "Felt follows function"

Kedmi Hanan, a recent graduate from Shenkar College of Engineering and Design in tel Aviv, has created a series of jewelery made from aluminum, heat sink devices that are attached to computer parts which tend to get overheated. Looking for ways to attach the materials together, she came across felting, that results not only in an interesting visual and textural combination but in a successful fusion of different materials together.
